We are now looking for a Banking & Finance Associate to join their busy, growing and highly regarded Finance & Restructuring Group. To be successful in this role: You will be a confident Banking & Finance Associate with 4+ years PQE or equivalent. We are looking for candidates who have meaningful experience in respect of multiple aspects of secured lending work, including drafting and leading on the negotiation of cross-border lending and security arrangements, senior facility agreements, senior / junior facility agreements and intercreditor agreements, security granted by / over assets located in a range of jurisdictions as well as general banking & finance advisory work. To be successful in this role: You must have deep exposure to acting for lenders ideally (both financial institutions and alternative capital providers), in UK and European commercial real estate finance transactions secured on a broad range of assets. You should be comfortable writing complex loan agreements and have a good understanding of the dynamics of intercreditor agreements; with running transactions; of identifying security perimeters and overseeing the drafting and negotiation of security documentation; in overseeing a deal team, including local counsel; and in engaging with counterparties, both legal and commercial, with confidence and clarity. Extensive experience of loan-on-asset financings, and some experience of loan-on-loan financings is essential.
