Must-have skills and experience
• 7+ years professional software engineering experience, delivering production systems at scale
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL
• Proven capability in database schema design and writing performant SQL
• Strong frontend experience using React and React Query
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong product mindset – able to bridge technical constraints and product needs, and deliver practical outcomes
Nice to have
• Experience with libraries such as SpreadJS, HyperFormula, FinnFlo.js, and AG Grid
• Background in computation-heavy services where accuracy and performance are critical
• Curiosity about tools that improve developer velocity, including AI-assisted coding
Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
• Deliver features from concept to production, contributing to technical decisions, implementation approach, and maintainable design
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to build high-performance, user-centric functionality with direct client impact
• Improve platform quality through pragmatic attention to reliability, data integrity, and engineering best practices
• Lead and contribute to cross-team initiatives that enhance developer experience and operating processes
• Mentor and support junior engineers, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Identify and adopt new technologies and patterns that help the team build better software, faster
