Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Family Law
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong experience across a broad range of private family law matters
• Confidence in a highly client-facing role
• Strong communication, client care and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with limited supervision
• A proactive, hands-on approach, including an interest in business development
• Good IT and case management systems experience
• Experience of DPS IT Case Management System would be beneficial, but is not essential

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Family Law caseload from instruction through to conclusion
• Handle matters including divorce, financial disputes, children matters, separation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, care proceedings and domestic abuse
• Meet clients face-to-face and deliver a high standard of client care
• Represent clients at hearings and in court where required
• Work independently and progress matters efficiently
• Support the continued growth of the department through a hands-on approach
• Contribute to business development
• Maintain high standards of risk management and compliance
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Salary, Bonus and Benefits
• Circa £50,000 at around 2 years’ PQE
• Circa £55,000 at around 4 years’ PQE
• 15% on-target bonus linked to billable invoices
• 25 days’ annual leave
