About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and highly respected law firm with over 100 years of history, providing trusted legal advice and support to both private and commercial clients.
They are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join their growing Residential Property team. Working closely with the Head of Department and fellow Fee Earners, you will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, supported by an experienced team of legal assistants.

Requirements
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE and a strong background in residential property transactions. You will ideally bring:
• At least 2 years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Experience managing transfers of equity, remortgages, lease extensions and associated property transactions
• Previous experience working within a CQS-accredited environment and familiarity with CQS protocols
• Strong technical and legal knowledge across residential property law
• Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload efficiently
• Good understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
• Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior team members
• A proactive approach to business development and relationship building
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Good IT skills, including experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Role & Responsibilities
As a Residential Conveyancer, you will manage a broad range of residential property matters while delivering a high standard of service to clients throughout the transaction process. Responsibilities will include:
• Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties
• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Identifying and managing potential risks throughout transactions
• Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
• Assisting with departmental growth through business development and networking activities
• Supporting the Head of Department and contributing to the continued success of the Residential Property team
